No Current Rescues
Updated Aug 2025
We currently have no rescues in need of rehoming, check back or contact us to be added to a waiting list. Additional details below.

We take in rescue chinchilla's at no cost to the previous owner and assess their health and welfare, seeing to their needs wherever possible. Some of these chinchilla's may end up staying with us for life, such as our eldest female Ava who has epilepsy and requires some extra care, whilst others are deemed suitable for rehoming and end up posted here. If you would like to take in a pre-owned chin have a look at the posts and message us to arrange a chat. These animals may be older but they still deserve a loving family and they often have great personalities. Again, you can contact us to be placed on a waiting list for pre-owned animals.
If you have a chinchilla that you are no longer able to keep or have had an unexpected litter and just want to find them a good home then please message us. We will post your chin here and help you with the rehoming process by checking potential owners for free. If you want to keep hold of your animal until a new owner is found but need help transporting them then we may charge travel costs depending on the situation/distance. Alternatively if we have space we can take the animals in ourselves and update you when they have found a new home.

We do occasionally take in other small exotics and mammals such as ferrets, as well as reptiles and amphibians, but this is very much dependent on if we have the correct equipment and experience needed to house such an animal. We cannot take larger mammals at this time.

Please understand that these posts are not for selling your chinchillas, no money will be exchanged for rehoming the animal, however, an agreement may be made between an owner and the new home if they wish to sell/buy the equipment that goes with the chinchilla (eg; cage, toys, substrate) if it has not been donated along with the animal.
